The cabin we stayed in was huge and had plenty of space for our family. The views from the cabin were stunning and we really enjoyed being surrounded by nature. Another great aspect was the hot tub, which was a perfect way to relax after a long day of exploring. The location was convenient as well, with shops and restaurants nearby.

The cabin was not clean when we arrived and there were dirty dishes left in the sink. The breakfast provided was very basic and not very appetizing.

Jaw-dropping private hot pod & sauna, incredibly comfortable beds, stunning panoramic mountain views, peaceful location. Friendly and helpful host who provided valuable recommendations. No language barrier. The delicious home-baked cookies and pre-made breakfast were perfect.

The room had a private entrance, which made it feel more exclusive and secluded.

Personally, I found the temperature of the water in the bath tub to be a bit too hot for my liking.

During my stay at Cabanas Kauken, I was amazed by the attention to detail. From the moment I checked in until I checked out, every aspect of my stay was taken care of. The cabin itself offered stunning views of the fjord and mountains, providing a tranquil and picturesque setting. I especially enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and sauna while admiring the rare birds and breathtaking sunsets. The owner, David, was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to ensure that I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. He even helped me arrange tours and activities, making my vacation truly hassle-free. I loved the fact that I had my own private cabin, providing both privacy and a sense of spaciousness. In the mornings, I appreciated the breakfast provided in the fridge, even though it consisted of simple sandwiches and yogurt. The convenience of having drinks and wine available in the cabin at a reasonable price was also a nice touch.

While the breakfast options were sufficient, it would have been nice to have fresh pastries and real coffee included. Additionally, the cabins are located about 10 minutes away from the town, but the owner can easily arrange transportation for a small fee.
